Chichen Itzá was one of the greatest Mayan centers of the Yucatan Peninsula. The fusion of Mayan construction techniques with new elements from central Mexico makes Chichen Itza one of the most important examples of the Maya civilization in Yucatan.

This wonderful place, full of culture is a UNESCO´s World Heritage and was named as a New 7 Wonders of the World . During this tour you will enjoy and learn about the Maya Culture, you will visit handcraft shops around the archaeological site.

Lunch. Enjoy a taste of Yucatan´s famous cuisine in an old gum hacienda. The menu includes: Claypot Beans, rice, Poc Chuc(Axiote marinated pork),Chicken in a Pibil sauce, guacamole, handmade tortillas, sauces and chips. To top it all off, we pet your sweet tooth with a delicious sweet potato coconut dessert and fresh fruit. Lunch will be served with an assortment of fresh fruit drinks and bottled water.(Aprox. Time 1hr 30 min)

Ek Balam.- We will visit an 100% mayan classic period style arqueological site in which you will be able to climb up the highest temple in Yucatán: The Acrópolis. Its most important discoveries consist of a royal tomb with a tribute spread of over 7,000 pieces, the Ball Game, the Oval Palace, defensive walls and the characteristic mayan arch. (Approx. Time 1hr 30 min)This visit includes free time to explore the site.
